neste domingo, 28 de junho de 2015 o músico raul seixas completaria 70 anos.

 

o roqueiro, que admirava o músico luiz Gonzaga, nasceu em salvador, bahia em 28 de junho de 1945, bem no finalzinho da segunda guerra mundial. um bom nascimento, depois do mal no mundo.

 

O rapaz magro, de cabelos cacheados e muito inquieto, confessou que, no início, não se preocupava tanto com a música, e sim com problemas filosóficos, morte e vida, e queria mesmo era ser escritor, assim como jorge amado.

 

na cidade de salvador dos anos 60, raul iniciou no rock imitando little richard, depois, criou a banda, ‘raulzito e os panteras’, animava a garotada da época, sedenta por novos sons.

 

raul era emblemático. em 1967 começou a namorar a filha de um pastor protestante estadosunidense, edith wisner, o pastor, de maneira quase óbvia, não aceitou o namoro, talvez, pensando que raul seixas não teria ‘futuro’, ele então, completou o ensino médio, fez vestibular, passou nas faculdades de direito, psicologia e filosofia, casou-se com edith, abandonou os estudos e retornou à música.

 

a bahia e o brasil agradecem ao pastor cristão dos estados unidos, pelo preconceito contra raulzito. pois, desde então, não mais saiu do rock. morreu em 1989, ainda com a música e nos deixou obras como: ‘mosca na sopa’; ‘sociedade alternativa’; ‘há dez mil anos atrás’ e muitas outras. + um que vive.
