“ A BAHIA É GORDA” > (translation below)
A exposição "A Bahia é
Gorda" será apresentada do dia 28 de maio a 12 de julho, no Espaço Caixa
Cultural Salvador, na Rua Carlos Gomes. A mostra, que tem entrada gratuita,
possui 30 obras mais representativas da artista plástica Eliana Kertész, e será
sediada na Galeria Arcos, nas terças-feiras a domingos, das 9h às 18h.
A obras são esculturas em
formatos variados, feitas de bronze, fibra de vidro ou alumínio. E traz,
também, novas incursões da artista através da exposição inédita de 7 painéis e
12 desenhos: uma representação da força criativa de arte, que se utiliza de uma
estética própria, simbolizando as mulheres gordas, bonitas e elegantes.

The exhibition "The Bahia's Fat" will be
presented the day may 28 to July 12, within Cultural Box Salvador, Rua Carlos
Gomes. The show, which has free entry, has 30 most representative works of the
artist, and will be headquartered Kertész Eliana in the Gallery arches, on
Tuesdays to Sundays, from 9:0 to 6:0 pm.
The works are sculptures in various formats, made of
bronze, fiberglass or aluminum. And, also, incursions of the artist through the
unprecedented exposure of panels 7 and 12 drawings: a representation of the
creative force of art, which uses an own aesthetics, symbolizing the two fat
ladies, beautiful and elegant.
