A Bienal Sul-Americana de Gravura e Arte Impressa Río/córdoba pretende constituir-se numa referência da gráfica artística sul-americana, refletindo um panorama atual de suas variadas formas expressivas, recursos técnicos de impressão e tendências.
Para a seleção dos artistas considerou-se que fossem artistas em atividade, com obras atuais e que em conjunto representem diversidade de linguagens e estilos, abarcando desde a geração dos anos ‘60 até a atualidade.
Foram convidados 3 participar noventa e cinco artistas sul-americanos.
O evento encaixa-se dentro de um projeto que busca desenvolver um "corredor cultural" entre as cidades de córdoba e distintas cidades do brasil; e dentro desse "corredor", canalizar ao mesmo tempo, manifestações artísticas de outros países sul-americanos com o propósito de enriquecer nossas relações ibero-americanas em seu aspecto cultural e familiarizarmos com a diferença idiomática.
Por outro lado, busca contribuir com os objetivos sociais de acessibilidade e democratização da cultura, promovendo e estimulando
O intercâmbio de ideias com a valorização dos recursos humanos e os conteúdos culturais diversos.

The South American Biennial of printmaking and Print Art Río/Cordoba aims to becomea reference of American artistic graphics, reflecting a current overview of its variousexpressive forms, technical resources and trends.
For the selection of artists was considered to be artists in activity, with current worksand which together represent diversity of languages and styles, spanning from the generation of ' 60 years until nowadays.
3 were invited to participate in ninety-five South American artists.
The event fits within a project that seeks to develop a "cultural corridor" between the cities of Cordoba and different cities in Brazil; and within this "Hall", channel at the same time, artistic manifestations of other South American countries with the purpose of enriching our ibero-American relations in its cultural aspect and acquainted with theidiomatic difference.
On the other hand, seeks to contribute to the social goals of accessibility anddemocratization of culture, promoting and stimulating
The exchange of ideas with the human resources development and the diverse cultural content.
