ano de 2013, o pritzker somente premiara duas mulheres: zaha hadid e kazuo
sejima. será que certos homens pensam, “pensam??!”, que as mulheres arquitetas
não merecem reconhecimento? um verdadeiro vexame. talvez, para evitar repetir tal
erro o instituto americano de
arquitetura, ainda em 2013, reformulou o regulamento para permitir às duplas
receberem a ‘gold medal’.
a ‘aia’, em 2016, reconheceu denise scott
brown (e robert venturi) como merecedora da “gold medal”, por suas concepções arquitetônicas
pós-modernas no século vinte. principalmente por suas teorias conceituais e de
execução: “aprendendo em las vegas”.
